my crucial DDR PC2100 memory finally crapped out at 160mhz..

Yup, tried memory at 160mhz FSB on a xp 1800+ T-bred at 1.60V. Runs windows just fine...but as soon as I do memory benchmarks, the PC reboots and I have to reset the CMOS just to make the PC to boot up. Oh well. Right now the Crucial PC2100 memory is running just fine at 155mhz. I am happy :D

cool. I could get my stick of 256mb crucial up to 170fsb. Luck of the draw I guess.

Maybe if you try some more voltage on the ram it will be stable.

yea maybe....but i am satisfied at 1.78ghz. I'll leave it as is until it becomes too slow for gaming.
