My CRT HDTV has visible scan lines in 1080i

My CRT HDTV has visible scan or refresh lines when in 1080i mode. It does fine when watching 480i/p from various srouces but gets diagonal scan lines across the screen when in 1080i mode. In 480i/p from the same source it does not get them. My tv is not widescreen so in 1080i it's gets letterboxed with an enhanced widescreen mode. This is all through component. It just gets annoying to see this visible scan lines when something is in 1080i.

Time to upgrade, your tv is dying. The electronics are dying, not the tube.
