My Criminal Procedural Law teacher is awesome

This guy was a States Attorney for a county very near Chi town for 15 years. He has seen a lot and doesn?t mince his words. He always says at least one thing during the lecture that would make a good sig. Last week it was, ?It?s like saying that if Adam and Eve hadn?t fscked up in the Garden of Eden, we would be here.? Full blown f-word and all.

Tonight in his explanation of Curtilage it was, ?fsck! My chickens are gone!.?

Maybe you had to be there, it was good.

I did not care much for crim pro, but hey that's just me. In my 3 years of law school none of the teachers used the f word, however I got an extra point for saying it the other week. The prof asked what was on the guys jacket in the Cohen case, and I proudly recited the phrase, "F the Draft" Nothing like cursing to enhance education. :)

My sociology prof is cool like that. We were talking about words as pejoratives. For instance, why bitch has negative connatations. She was talking about it when out of nowhere she picked a student and says: How would you like it if I called you bitch? Or said you were my bitch? Oh man, that was funny stuff.

And in my music class last year we were learning about Rap. Notable artists, etc. He plays on the stereo really loud Fu** the Police by NWA. That was pretty funny.

I'm in electrical engineering at UF.. but I took two Criminal Justice classes for fun. Law and Legal Process with Prof. Spillane and Criminal Justice with (I forget). They were the best, most thorough professors I had here at UF. I wonder what companies would think of me if I had an EE degree with a minor in Criminal Justice.. hehe

interesting, I started down the EE path but after all the math and physics I could take at the CC level (I'm not kidding here, I took them all.) Like 12 math classes and 55 physics. I got board. I went and got a job and me and my 2 year (140 hours, hehe) degree have dabbled in whatever I feel like taking.

This semester I'm taking Intro to VB (blow off class), CrimPro (I like that term) Cisco Advanced Routing, and Professional Communications.

This has to be the most informative class I've taken to date. But I have always like it when the teachers are Industry Professionals, and not just teachers. I hate Professional Teachers*.
