My credit card company is almost to easy..

TallBill

My USAA card is amazing. I keep a zero balance, and have since I've had the card, but keep raising my limit just incase of absolute emergency.

Anyways, just playing around online, they raised my limit up to $20,000 instantly, as well as knock down the APR rate from 18 to 11%. Nothing special, but very easy, and didn't have to talk to a soul!

Oh, not to mention the $115 credit that we just got back which represents whatever percent of our periodic purchases.

And the > 5% savings account that I have with them. 😛

How did you get the savings account > 5%? Mine's only 3%. I did manage to get my CC down to 10% with them recently. 🙂

I have a Bank of America card (formerly MBNA) and they raise my limit all the time. I started out with $10K and it's now over $30K. My rate has always been 5.9.

The performance first savings account is >5%.. but a minimum of 10,000 to open.

USAA is the greatest company I've ever dealt with, no question.

ABSOLUTELY. I switched over to them when I went off to college because it was handy to be able to get to my money from anywhere. I now use them for pretty much everything, and they have been nothing but helpful.

Scenario:
Me: "I have a question" *dials USAA*
USAA: "Hello, this is [USAA rep], I speak perfect English, and am actually able to help you and answer your question. Also, I will not put you on hold for long periods of time."
3) Profit.

Greatest.
Company.
Ever.

Amex gives out credit like candy. It seems like you're able to raise your credit once a month through the website. I got to over 30K combined between my two Amex cards and decided to stop raising it.

I keep a zero balance on my USAA card and they raise my limit $1500-$2500 every year without me even asking. It's up to $21.5k now.

Much better than Chase. The Chase card I have used to have a decent rate, but is 21% or so now. Four more payments and it's paid off. I have tried getting a lower rate, but they wouldn't budge, though they kept increasing my credit limit. Of course, now that it is almost paid off, they send a letter which takes note of my "recent large payment" and they "hope they aren't losing me as a customer."
