He's been trying to get me to buy an ultralight and fly with him since forever. I admit I've been sorely tempted at times.
It doesn't help, though, that he's gone through more lives than most cats already, starting in the way back in that bloody Asian paradise where we were all introduced to death up close and personal.
Since then he's survived multiple car and motorcycle accidents, and now, at least two major ultralight crashes. It doesn't seem to faze him one bit, and he just continues on with his maniacal, shit-eating grin.

He's always sending me truly beautiful pics taken from the air. Some day soon, I may even get it together and upload some.

Here are a few pixs of the flight back from Shoestring last weekend with my buddy Dion in his Sky Ranger aeroplane. The fort is Fort Mott, an old civil war fort on the Delaware bay below or south of Wilmington Delaware.. the next to the last photo is where I got to land my Quicksilver when the crank blew on me.. got to admit it was talking to me before I launched and I should have paid heed to the warning.. well what ever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger.. won't make that mistake again you can bet.. my dad said he would have told me to stop flying if I hadn't heard anything! oh well any landing you walk away from is a good one.. only need a nose wheel for the airframe and I am back in the sky again..
