My CPU running too hot?

Hey guys... i have an AMD XP 1800 CPU which i overclocked to AMD XP 2000 speeds (11.5 multiplier/145 mhz bus) with an MSI KT3 Ultra MOBO. And my cpu voltage was at 1.825. However, after playing 20 minutes of unreal tournament 2003, my computer crashed and rebooted. When i went into the bios, it said my cpu was at 52 degrees celcius. Is this too hot? Should i bump my cpu voltage to 1.85 so it's more stable?

If you're worried about heat, then increasing the voltage should be the furthest thing from your mind. And, I assume you're talking about the UT2k3 DEMO (if not, gimme!).

Anyways - if you think the crash/crashes are heat related, that's a factor of increasing the core voltage and overclocking the CPU .. if the crash was from not enough voltage then increase that. However, I think 52C is pretty hot for right after a reboot - 52C at load is pretty good, but when it's not doing anything, I'd recommend lowering your voltage and o/c.

What kind of heatsink do you have? How many case fans do you have? Whats the room temp?
these are other things you have to take into consideration.
