my cpu fan doesn't startup with cold start

i have cool & quiet on and asus' own bios temp controller. (i forget the name).

what no i do?

i get the cpu error message, which i have to hit the f1 key, wherein windows starts, eventually the cpu fan starts as well. i guess the cpu is under 35 degrees.

make sure you don't have the 'smart fan' option turned on.

i do have it turned on, why should i turn it off?

because the cpu starts COLD, and the option turns the fan off because the CPU is cold. basically the fan is run off the tempature of the CPU. if the CPU is not hot enough to need the fan, why turn it on?

i believe this is how 'smart fan' option works.
