Thats not good right? I'm using a dell...

Something is wrong with the software i am using to check the mobo temp right? Its too low...Right?

Or is it normal?

I am running a p3 600 mhz (underclocked to 599...) with a whopping 1 SYSTEM fan...and 1 intel brand cpu cooler (no heatsink)

8 degrees celsius is pretty cold-- doing the math in my head its something like 50 or so regular degrees... sounds like a software or sensor problem.

That's ok. The BIOS for my old K6-2 500 that uses the same cooling fan as my Athlon 1.2 says that at idle it is 67 degrees celsius.

<< 50 or so regular degrees >>

haha. thats funny. Regular degree's opposed to "irregular degrees"

Anyways, check your software. Maybe you can get it recalibrated or something

I dont remember the exact conversion to farenheit(sp) right now,
but -1c is freezing, and 20-22c is room temp.

That being said, unless you have a peltier, something is wrong with the temp sensors and/or the software

It is cx1.8+32 where c equals the temp. in Celsius.
