Well, I still have the CMOS checksum bad message. Every time I want to start up, I have to clear the CMOS. I changed the bios battery. No go. Had bios 1010, but flashed down to 1009 thinking that would fix it, but it still issues warning. Just yesterday my CDROM combo drive stopped working. IF anyone has a fix, please tell me! Takes me about 5 cmos pin-pullings to get booted up. Please help!

by the way, It still wont save my bios settings. When I exit and save, the screen will shut of and I have to reboot by clearing cmos. The fans will still be running though. This is becoming a pain!!! Also what is the fastrack controller? It says there is no bios installed. In the bios setup it says I have AMI bios 1008. But in bootup it says I have 1009. Seems like this computer is confused.
