Ive got 1 GiG of 2700 RAM. 1.8 GHZ Pentium 4 GeForce 5700 and i know it isnt exactly that great of a system but it acts very slow. I dont have spyware or anything and my harddrive isnt full. But things freeze up my game FPS's is extremely low and i dont know why. Any one have an idea why. I havent been able to fix it. Please help.
 
its been slow but i thought with an upgrade form 866 and G4 Mx420 and 512 ram it would be WAY faster. I would get better FPS with my GeForce 3. I havent used the app accelerator. Should I? Its on a windows 98.
 
IAA can make a big difference in some systems. It should be on the mb drivers disk. If not then here. The link will also answer any questions you may have.
 
Did you install all the drivers that came with your motherboard? I think I remember having to install an AGP acceleration something or other on one of my boards.
