My computer restarts when installing a game

Hey... whenever I'm in the process of installing this game (Command and Conquer Renegade) my computer monitor turns off and then my computer turns off and restarts.

I have tried installing other games (including Call of Duty) and they installed successfully. I have tried using my friend's Renegade CD, and got the same problem. So, I then took the last chance I had and reformatted my hard drive. I tried it after reformatting my hard drive and my computer still restarted in the middle of the install!

I have no clue what the problem could be. I have all the latest Windows Updates and drivers.

C & C Renegade is very picky on what Ethernet adapter is used.

Whoa... do u really think the ethernet could cause this problem? Alright... I'll search the EA Support Forums =D
