when i turn my computer on it seems pretty normal, hard drives lights go on and it starts doin stuff. But my monitor never turns on, it remains in stand-by. It's not the monitor, i plugged in another one and it still didnt work. When the computer is turned off there is a never-ending beep. this is not normal and i have no idea what the beep means. Everything is plugged in properly, including the cards, nothing wrong with video card. I can't even get to the BIOs screen.

Is my processor fried or something? it's a thunderbird 800
i highly doubt it's my motherboard or videocard

Have you taken a look at your fans to see if they've seized up??? Could be that yer overheating. Also, check to make sure your ram is snug....

Do you have another system that you can test the video card in?? Or test the monitor on?? Never heard anything like it before, but I'll do more research for it when I get home.

If you've tried testing those 2, I really can't think of anything else off the top of my head that you could do. Possibly clear the CMOS, but that probably won't do anything major unless you've updated firmware and have a confliction, or have been fooling around in the BIOS lately.
