my computer keeps typing random things.

for some reason my computer keeps typing or pasting random things from my clipboard.

mostly numbers.

sometimes it will pop up minimize or close different windows.

I'm not sure what's causing it.. I ran kaspersky and it didnt' detect any viruses.

do you have any idea what it is? or something else I should use to scan.

try with a different keyboard. this does sound like a trojan. go into safe mode and try it from there. perhaps a rootkit? i don't know. this sounds really strange.

It's a trojan. My friend had this one. His also opened calculator and typed in 2+2 until you stopped it, and opened MS Paint and drew satanic symbols and stuff. It was pretty weird. He uses AVG Protection on his computer, it found it and took it out. I dunno about kaspersky, though.

another possibility is if you have some speech-recognition software installed. I've seen Dragonsoft just spontaneously open Word files, etc if the microphone port is picking up anything at all.

A trojan otherwise known as a keyloger. A key loger takes personal info and puts it in randon places like on your computer or on the internet. I recomend a better firewal

I really doubt it's a keylogger.. and i dont have any text2speech programs installed

anyways I installed AVG and it still didn't get rid of it.

once I get unlazy I'll probably just do a clean install.
