It has been doing this for a week or so. I am thinking it might be a system update. I eventually have to do start up repair and then all is good. While I am up and running, is there anything you suggest I check? It is Windows 7 Ultimate

If your CPU is getting overheated the computer will automatically shut down. I had a situation on an older computer where one side of the heatsink clip failed, so the heatsink wasn't making solid contact. The machine would automatically shut down after a minute or so. Maybe you CPU fan froze.

Like SimMike2 and makken said. I had a problem with sudden shutdowns on my other PC and it was due to the thermal paste that had dried up; re-coating the CPU fixed it.
