My computer keeps freezing, HELP!

I have a:

PC-CHIPS 810LMR
Duron 750
768 MB of SDRAM
30 GB hard drive

I had windows xp installed on it, and it started freezing up on me. I was planning on going back to windows 2000, so I reformatted and put Windows 2000 on it, halfway through the install, it freezes. I take the video card out, and get 2000 installed. 10 minutes into using the computer, it locks up. Reboot, 5 minutes in, it locks up. Reboot, 1 minute it, it locks up. Reboot, 15 minutes in, it locks up. ARRGGHHH. Any suggestions?

have you updated to the latest bios?? This my sound weird but take some of that ram out and see what happens. Also, check your video drivers and such. Just my 2 cents and hope this helps 😀

I agree... I had a similar problem before, and flashing the BIOS fixed it for me...
