MSI X570 MPG Carbon

So my computer glitches out (sound cuts out, static blares in) during extended gaming sessions, or during heavy loads, and if I continue my computer will crash. I monitored the temperatures of the CPU and GPU (and junction temp), and they were fine. I ran the PSU test on OCCT, and it crashed. I replaced my 1200w 80+ Platinum with a Superflower Leadex 80+ Titanium 1000w PSU, and the issue remains. I did a full mem test on my Crucial 3600 memory, no issues.

The sound issues occur both when using the front panel headphone port, and when using TV out via HDMI.

What do you guys think it could be? Before a "critical update" (no details provided) update to my Steelseries GG software for my Apex Pro, my backlighting would flicker on and off and my keyboard (and Logitech G403 mouse) would turn off before the crash.

What do you guys think is the problem/problems?

I have seen many users complain of stability issues that were fixed after removing various vendor apps. It's a good place to continue the troubleshoot.

Questions include:
Did you add the 7900XTX to your current build which was using a different GPU?
If the card was added to an existing system, did you nuke the drivers with DDU before installing?
How old is the windows install? Is it 10 or 11?

The issues over HDMI point to the new GPU being flaky. But I'd try a fresh copy of windows, with fresh AMD chipset and graphics drivers to eliminate other software issues. Unless this was all a new build already. I keep 128 -256GB nvme drives around with win10&11 and a couple of different Linux distros for troubleshooting and testing purposes. Mine were leftovers from upgrading client systems, but they are only like $20 now anyways. Good to have IMO, as it makes things easy.

Didn't someone else in another thread have problems with their XFX 7900XTX (maybe it was an XT)? They ended up having to RMA the card, but initially thought it was power supply related.

Edit: Yep. I remembered correctly. XFX 7900XT reference card.
