My computer is possessed

The portion of my Internet Explorer windows that contains the "File Accessories . . . Options" area is flat-out gone.

I also am unable to right-click my mouse.

What's the deal . . . ? Is this a virus or something?

I'd try rebooting first

Very possibly a virus, but yes, rebooting could help too

I had a corrupted install of Win98 start to do this type of thing. Had to do the dreaded format and reinstall.

Rebooting helped . . . I can't remember the last time I rebooted, so maybe that was the problem . . .

I just reinstalled, LOL . . . figures when I get everything the way I want it, I might have to do it again.

No need to reinstall if you run Win98.

Get out to a Dos promt and type: SCANREG/RESTORE

Then select the backup set and click on Restore.
