My Computer is being RAPED!! Help!

So much bullsh|t since I let my bro use my PC.

upon boot up:
*A program installs itself, complete with the progress bar. It's lame enough that sh|t installs behinds your screen but it's BLATANTLY on the screen!
*My homepage keeps on resetting to some stupid search engine.

during use:
*There's constant uploading and downloading activity of 1-3kbytes at all time! Even if I'm idle.. is this normal?
*Random toolbars installed on my IE.

what I did:
*Ran AdAware 6, detected about 112 crap, removed it but there are about 3 objects that continue to show up on EACH scan! How do I remove this?
*Ran PC Cillin Online Virus Scan, actually it's being run now, I don't think there is any virus, just load of spyware crap.
*Regcleaner to remove any suspicious startup programs & reg values
*Went to the Program Files folder and deleted any unusually folders.

What else should I do? Are their any other must have gems like Adadware? Am I missing something else to a complete cleanage?

Which one is it? Lop.com? Google the particular recurring program / site that keeps returning in adaware and perhaps you'll find a fix.

people think its funny to throw the word rape around... but if you actually knew a computer that was raped you wouldn't be so quick to use that word.

Get SpyBot and Hijack This, too.

Are these something AdAdware can't take care of? I don't want to install too much just to clean up.

what gistech1978 said. They are complementary but Hijack This can clear up hijacked home pages/search engines and added toolbars to IE.

I'll usually run Spybot and then an anti-virus scan.

To catch things that are already loaded, just boot up into safe mode and run the scans.

I know man, my computer keeps getting drunk at parties. I have like five little graphing calculators running around and nobody but me to buy batteries for them.

the worst is all the different cable you have to buy so they can connect to each other and play. I mean there is a new standard out every few months and the little calcs just have to have it of course. Its a waste of frikken money Thats what it is.

Last night, I accidentally clicked yes on one of those would you like to install this spyware crap on your computer sites. I'd just got done clicking no about 10x but on that 11th one my mouse pointer moved and just nicked the edge of yes. And at that point I was so pissed I just sat there in shock because it was too late to do anything about it...

I spent the next 2-3hrs running spyware removal tools and cleaning that crap off!

Spybot and AdAware got most of it, but, it installed a prog that ran on startup and reinstalled some stuff. Had to figure that part out myself. Removed it from the run=, runonce= registry and other startup locations. Then re-ran spybot and adaware. When they were happy I ran hijack this and found a few leftover items.

One friging yes click. Bah!

it's in ur registry.. it's not a ad aware thing so it wont detect it. check in the hl_key_localuser and the hl_key_currentuesr and go to software>internet explorer then go to main and change somethin i forgot.
