My computer has gone loco on me.

Okay, for the past couple days I get this program running in the background and I have NO idea how it got there. It lags teh sh!t out of everything and it is pissing me off. Anyone know what sapisvr.exe is? HELP!

I have the same problem with it. I actaully was just about to make a post about it. It is a speech recognition program, and it screws up my comp. In IE, it will start randomly typing things in the search bar, and is a huge pain in the ass. I searched my comp and deleted anything containing sapisvr but it still keeps showing up. I believe it is tied to Office, but I'm not sure.

Removal Instructions

? Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options

?Look under the Languages tab, click on the button labeled ?Details? under ?Text services and input languages.?

?Under Installed Services, select Speech Recognition and click the button ?Remove.?

?Click ?OK? to apply the changes.
