My Computer folder is displaying in an odd format

Not sure why, but when I open the My Computer folder I get this instead of the usual nicely formatted output (with different types of drives grouped, etc.)

If I change the "view" settings the best I can get is this. :disgust:

Does anyone know how to switch back to the standard formatting?

FAR RIGHT ---> Little Blue Icon with the black arrow pointing down put it on "Icons" Then once you have done this to make sure the entire drive shows the same, that is IF you want them all to look the same, then go to --> Tools -- Folder Options -- View -- Apply to All Folders, CLICK that and it will make all of Windows Explorer display this way with the icon look, or whatever you put the "Views" to. The idea is, this is a ONE click make the whole drive take on the look of the one you just made.
🙂

View-->Arrange icons by type?
Combined with View > Tiles and Arrange Icons By > Show in Groups

yep.

'View' -> 'Arrange Icons By' -> 'Show in Groups' (with a check mark next to it)

should do the trick.
