Hi,

My name is Hiandy. I really need help from all of you. The problem is my computer randomly always does restart. I have scanned it with anti-virus program but there is no virus. Now my computer is in a service shop but it seems that they don't know the cause of it. They already uninstall all hard disks and run it, but still the restart happens.

So, please anybody, help me, what should I do?

Every input and suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Hiandy

Turn off auto restarts and record error messages. Look into EventViewer and see if you are logging any specific errors. That's a start to troubleshooting these issues. Both are in control panel, one under System/Advanced the other under administrative tools.

Maybe a new program is incompatible with other software and is the cause of your crashes. Also, what Slammy1 said. If you get a BSOD, just turn off the auto restart and make a note of the error message.

Generally with a bad PSU, I believe it will simply shut off and not restart. I could be mistaken.

Generally I thought when a computer restart itself, it is the CPU overheating. Did you check the temperature on your cpu?
