my compaq exploded, im sure ive bitched a couple times about it...the PSU just went up!!
so i got a cool mobo made by tekram for 26 bucks, i got the p2, and it has a crappy heat sink on it, and no fan, as it used the good old fan to duct to heatsink cooling. i hate those.

i dont need nothing high tech, cuz i dont think i got one of the p2s that overclocks according to dates.

its the cartridge slot type (secc or somehting like that, im tired and catn think)
so whats a decent hsf for a p2 since i cant seem to find a nice one at the usual newegg, etc.

thanks.

If you can't find one, I'll sell you a PII 350 (100 MHz FSB). You could try eBay for a HSF unit.

lol great news! would'be happened sooner or later! But the P2's should be fine with just a big heatsink though.

well now im confused, what is the difference between a secc2 and secc?

thought i had a secc but now i have no clue...its the cartridge one that slides in like a pci card and needs some rails on it.
