My company wants to buy an MCSE for me.

Thoughts? Honestly I have never really looked into getting any certs, what should I be looking at or for?

Any advice or pointers appreciated. 🙂

I would say it depends on what your best method of learning is. I personally learn best from Classes, as I get 8 hrs/day to focus on the material without distraction. Others I work with do well with reading a book (usually a Self-Paced Training). I would not even attempt it without Transcender Practice Tests. They are a godsend (although they are very proud of them $$$$), Transcenders also have a why is this answer right or wrong as part of the grading. Hope this helps, I have many certs and this method does work!

depends on your expertese level..
boot camp may be an option for you.
they run about 7k..
mine came with full set of 2003 transenders and the official MS curriculim and 7 test vouchers.
with airfare hotel and food for 14 days in california

2003 tract is no longer an easy to get thing like 2000 was.. the tests are hard and do not favor the paper cert people too well..

Dude, what company is this that offers the bootcamp that comes with airfare, hotel, and food for 14 days? I would love to register from this company instead of the one I found which only offers a $200 GC to amazon for a $8k class.

yes, that's the easiest, basically, if you know everything you need to do already, why not...
