My company is hiring 1000 engineers! (somewhat substantiated)

Well, I don't know for sure. I do know our department is hiring now, after atleast a year of no new hires. And other departments are also hiring.

Rumors going around say that we are looking for 1000 engineers! We are a company of 8000 or so, so the number 1000 isn't to shocking. That's about a 20% increase in the size of our engineering staff. Not to mention baby boomers will be retiring, so we need to get new peoplein now.

We are located in Groton,CT.

Now would bea good time to send resumes here. Just google us....it will come up easily.

I probably won't be back to ATOT today, so I won't respond immediately. But if you have the resume ready to go ....

hey I got a job offer from them back in the day. they liked that I had interned with GE Aerospace (as it was known) and worked on BSY-2. of course I didn't tell them that I tested the cabinet's cassette player functionality with a Beastie Boys tape.

HEhehehehehehe... it's filled with peaks and valleys. I was in the dumps when I made my user ID. Things are picking up now. When you have 20 hours to do and have to twiddle your thimbs for 20 hours, it gets frustrating. That's no longer the case.
