This is a good trick and I would do it! Also you should pig out on MCDONALDS double cheese burgers $1 each from now till the weigh in. Make sure you don't drink till you pass out or have to flee to use the toilet before they weigh you in...

Double salted McDonalds french fries will help you hold more water at the weigh in as already said.

The very first wiegh in you should be way ahead of everyone else if you do all this stuff.

Say you weigh in at 200 lbs I would bet after one week you could weight 175lbs no problem. Eat like 700 cal a day all vegies and drink lots of water accept before the last weigh in of course that day you want to sweat it all out. Oh and don't just rely on low cal to loose the weight you should walk or jog or bike and get a sweat going every single day.

Oh, take laxatives everyday too if your really crazy! Stop short at vomiting up your meals.

I remember some time back of someone dying from that in a wii contest.

Oh the ironing.

edit: I can see someone who's borderline underweight like me (5'10" 130 and sometimes 125) losing about 30-40lbs and suing the company...

Drink some gatorade along with the water to avoid hyponatremia.

Yeah, too much water CAN kill you... you need electrolytes (sodium, potassium, and calcium) in order to not die from drinking too much water. I suggest drinking gatorade along with water to prevent that from happening.

Gatorade: it prevents death! :D

Forget weight loss, you need to throw a few pounds on that skeleton of yours. :p

This seems like a really strange contest for an office environment. If you are already skinny you basically have no chance. Because of this it seems like they are really just giving bonuses to people who are overweight and that just doens't seem right..

Still....if it works thats good

Holy hell man, 5'10 130?! I was 6' 145 when I was a scrawny college freshman. I weigh 195 now and I'm not fat, although I'd consider 180 to be a good weight for me.

Might be meant as a joke but it really is true. Even if it is by percentage. For a person who is already of perfectly healthy weight to win this contest, they might have to actually put their health at risk by becoming TOO underweight when they were otherwise perfectly healthy to begin with. It really is discriminatory.

Considering how much the fatties are costing you on your heath insurance you probably shouldn't mind.

If I was up for it, I can put away 2 gallons of water. But then, I will be really bloated. I don't mean bloated like "it's uncomfortable to run" bloated, I mean like... you can't move... at all.

And could actually be at risk for water poisoning, which is never good as AT has concluded before in the thread to win a Nintendo Wii.

Horrible horrible horrible advice. If he eats 700 calories a day his metabolism will drop like a rock and he will become malnourished.

The bonus to the skinny people is... less fat people in the work environment. It's a pretty good bonus both ways and an interesting contest.

We had one recently. Only maybe 8 people but I started the thinnest and got I think 3rd place :) Fatties don't have what it takes to lose it.
