My College and underground tunnels..

I go to a rather large University and randomly some of my floor mates and I were dropped off in the basement of our dorm (which isn't supposed to happen, it's supposed to be locked) but we found that with a certain combination of buttons we can get down there at will. Anyway, it's amazing, it's this dark tunnel system that connects all the dorms and most of the university. One could easily pass through the campus undetected. It's cool but kinda freaky at the same time. Anyone else explore the tunnel network at their place of living/schooling?

bring a large knife whenever you go down there and guard the secret like it's your life... that's what i would do at least. cuz once too many people know, the authorities will find out eventually.

You can get all over campus at my college. Supposedly there were a bunch of guys back in teh 80s that mapped most of it, but you know how those stories go

OK State has them.
If I recall they were designed in the 40's for use as shelters.

TCNJ/Trenton State has a network of underground tunnels, but they are sealed off. According to college historians, the tunnels were once open to student foot traffic so that they could get around campus even in poor weather.

I went in the tunnels at Emporia State University once after getting out of the bars. We went about half mile underground and ended upin the football stadium. Our tunnels have large (3 ft diameter) pipes running through them on the ground so you have to walk around them to get anywhere. We saw large caches of desks, tp, cleaning supplies, etc. It was pretty cool.

This was back in 1996 or so.
