My Co-Workers monitor almost just cought on fire

I'm sitting at my desk working, and I look up across the room at a co-worker. She's just sitting there working on her blackberry or something. All of a sudden, I see tons of smoke pouring out of her monitor...

I jump up and run over looking for the source... I figured it was coffee or something, but no, smoke is pouring out of the vents of her LCD. I immediately unplug everything and pull the monitor off the desk -- An entire corner of it was completely melted away, it looked like it was liquid, even after drying.

I'm just looking at the desk, trying to find some clues... She sits by the window, but obviously the window pane isn't going to cause that... Then voila, I spot the MAGNIFYING GLASS she has sitting in her pencil holder. The path between the sun and monitor was literally perfectly obstructed by the magnifying glass, true 1 in a million shot.

It was a nice break from the regular work day
