Seriously........... The Caps have to win the lotto to get Alexander............. Pittsburg is the favourite with 25% chance of winning and the Caps are next with 16%.

Since the lottery's inception in 1995, the last place team with the highest percentage to win the lottery has only won twice. And ironically, the Caps play Pittsburgh as the last game of the season.

The good thing though, about coming in last, is that no team can drop more than 1 spot as a result of the lottery... so they are guaranteed either Ovechkin or Malkin...
