Ok, here's the situation. My co-worker is looking at some naughty stuff at work and i don't have the physical proof to confront him.

I caught him once, looking at the stuff and when i came back to his computer to check his history, it's all gone. And he does that all the time (delete his browser info).

Is there any programs/methods to see what he is actually viewing? I don't want to load another software on his computer unless it runs in the background secretly..

temp internet files work.
I busted 2 people here using that then we finally got a filter in place.

on a side note: its NOT your duty to bust them. You can REPORT them but don't go fishing for evidence yourself. Go to your manager or HR and report what you saw. It is THEIR job to resolve the matter. NOT yours.

Learn how to work.

Tell your IT staff that you think he is using the computer for questionable things and ask them to monitor him?

There is an easy way to make it so he no longer can delete his history, it just stays there for however many days it's set to stay there. It's not full proof but it's pretty good. I use it at an office I admin at.

PM me for more info. This is assuming you will not get in trouble by changing your co-workers computer in this way. You are the admin right...? If not let IT know it's bothering you or something and see if they handle it.

Download a rainbow themed gay pron desktop theme to his machine and install it. If you can't catch him, set him up!

QFT. Do not bust them yourself unless you are part of your business's IT/Security department. If you are IT/Security, then report it to your manager/supervisor.

You don't want to shortcut the system. That's what it is there for.

its not the freakign ITs job OR the OP's job.
OP needs to report it to the HR department and/or his manager.
If HR/Manager deems a scan/search neccessary THEY order IT to do it...
have none of you worked in an office before?

Unless your co-worker is slacking off and not finishing his work because that person is consistantly looking at porn.. it's not worth the trouble.

Are you the manager? Nose out of his business and let the manager do his or her job. Can't stand nosy people at work, probably have too much free time.

We are an instituion for kids who are disabled. We don't have an IT department nor a HR department. We're really small.
