in her own mind.
My co-worker has been rather busy the latter part of this week. She likes to be busy. I do too actually. But office work sometimes runs hot and cold.
Anyway, she's been crowing on and on ad-nauseam about how she can multitask and how wonderful she is at it and so on and so forth. I've had to get away from my desk numerous times because I'm going to either throw up or get really pissed.
The thing is, that as great as she is at this multitasking, I was wondering why she has to do everything over two, three or even four times.
When she gets busy like this, if I have the time, I will help with simple tasks. I've learned to wait 24 hours because she will grab the work off my desk multiple times and re-do it.
Her classic thing to do is to send a 20 page report to the printer (printing out about 30 or so copies) and after retrieving it, on the way back to her desk, she'll say "aw crap" and it all goes in the trash. She'll repeat this up to about 4 times on some projects.
They've got a whole forest dedicated to her projects with lumberman working 24/7. The pulp mills having been working OT as long as they can remember.
Don't rate my rant. I'm not pissed, just yakking.
