My christmas break Rant

first day off, i develop soar throat
now, i can feal my sinuses closing and a dark yellow substance draining in the back of my throat
I ALWAYS GET SICK ON MY HOLIDAYS, EVER SINCE ELEMENTARY

i have not gotten sick since the first week of school and now im about to get 2 weeks off and i get a cold right on the first day. and the best part is one of my friends that is a girl has caught the same thing, cheers to not being able to party over christmas break

You will get dizzy and slow in about 10 minutes from double the dose of NyQuil. You won't get that effect from alcohol in 10 minutes (i.e. the quicker you get f'd up, the more fun you'll have).

I look at it the other way. It is quite miserable to have to go to school/work while you are sick. You are so tired, don't function well, etc. Or if you skip, then you have all this makeup work to do (and/or you don't get paid). It is so good to be sick on the holidays, you can just sleep all day - sleep right through your sickness and you won't hardly even notice you were ill. No stress of makeup work, no suffering through 8 hours of hell at work/school while sick, etc. And who says you can't party when ill...
