My chest hurts from time to time

Aimster

Lifer
I put my hand over my chest and put pressure on it and the pain goes away while I am doing that.

Anyone else get these kinds of pains?

(yes ive been to the doctor about them yearss ago and they hooked me up to every machine possible. they dont know anything 😛 )

does it sting a little?

I've had similar problem.. it was very random and pain goes away for a short while if i tap my chest with my fist..

Doctor didn't know crap.. and after quite some time of researching, I've found out that those happen because of bad digestive system. What happens is your stomach over-fills with gas because your digestive system isn't working well and those gases come up to the chest and lungs causing pain.

eating 3 times a day at same time daily (very important) and continous exercise stopped the symptoms.. wish you well

i get this when i breath deep (not really deep but anything but shallow)...the cause? i have stuck ribs. my ribs are supposed to flex on cartliage or whatever, but mine do not.

solution? laying on a tennis ball like the physiotherapist showed me

Hey that used to happen to me too. But only when I lost a little bit of weight. Then after I gained some weight back it went away and I haven't had it since. I never knew about that tennis ball trick. You lay on your back or stomach? Where do you put the tennis ball?

i have some thing where if i lean over for a while or crawl under my desk to plug something in, when i get up, theres pressure/tension on my chest. then i take my palm and press against it, and it cracks...similar to cracking knuckles...and it feels better.

Could be a back/neck problem. Or a muscle spasm. I've had them all my life and it usually tells me I need to go to the gym.

lay on my back, and the tennis ball goes about 1/2 inch off the left and right of the spine. maybe an ich. you'll know when it stops feeling like bone and starts feeling like pain like a back rub.

The EMTs told me it was an Angina T__T; But the azn family doctor knew better 😀 And I thought I was about to have a heart attack. Damn digestive system :|

Could be anxiety, stress... panic attacks... I know I've gotten all sorts of sharp and dull chest pains in all areas of the heart...

It could also be mitral valve prolapse, which are brought on by anxiety and panick attacks.
