My Cd-rom drive is running to lean!!!

I put my disc in. When ever I install any thing or what ever makes the cd-rom drive go full speed It goes full then sounds like it has no gas left. The drive gose D=speed up U=When it slows down I=Idle meaning is staying at full speed or half speed.

But when is slows down when its not spinning fast its fine but at full speed and med speed it does it.

I know Its reading the cd and it does that al little now its been doing it to loudly and I can hear it and slowing down more often. How vould I fix this problem

If you did not get my whole post. I think its the laser optic is dirty how do I clean it. Thanks

Buy a new drive.

Or blow it out with compressed air.

just get a new drive, cd-roms are outdated anyway

I would change to larger jets for the primaries if its running too lean.
