My CD-drives

My computer has two CD-drives which is generally use for CD burning. The top cd-drives won't can't read any of my disk at all. It can open and close fine!!
Please any help!

Can burning too much DVD on your laptop, break your CD drive?

delete the CDRom drivers and restart. Sometimes the driver goes bad and reinstalling them will help.
