I live on a lake in So. Illinois and I can't keep my damn cat out of it. Espically now that its 99degrees outside. Anyone else have cats that swim?

My cat hates water, but he does watch tv. *Only* porn though. Seriously. He'll watch it for hours.

When that's the only thing you ever turn on, the cat doesn't have a choice...

Some species enjoy water.

Turkish Van

That sounds like a great breed of cat!

One of the most beautiful cats with one of a kind character. My parents had one.
We have a great cat now but it is almost 15 and he is having some medical problems. When the day comes that he has to be put down I think that a Turkish Van will be the next cat we get.

They are very expensive / hard to find in U.S or anywhere else around the globe. The Turkish government has prohibited exporting of these cats IIRC. Last time I heard there were like a total of 300 or something Turkish Vans left. So they may be under protection.
