Considering we once had a cat named "nacho" because he loved cheese, yes it's normal.

Dairy supposedly isn't the best food for cats though.

Just about every cat I've ever known loves cheese. Hell, my cat goes nuts for cheese and really, really nuts for Cheez-its and saltine crackers. I joke that my cat should be called a cog though, because he's a cat, but begs for food and eats like a dog.

Yup...the lactose will make 'em poop like nothing else. My cat loves it, but even a little bit will result in an atomic bomb in the litter box. :disgust: I know, too much info.

should do an experiment, feed him all the dairy he wants, and then see if he's turned off by the atomic bowel movements. i know humans wouldnt eat something that gave them that constantly...

For some reason, I think the animal prides himself on the poo he can produce.

I'll post pics!

Last night he had the scoots from something - he managed to leave a fair amount up the side of his litter box.

Cats are suckers for dairy foods. My moms cat likes ice cream and yogurt, she keeps giving it to her though which probably isn't a smart thing to do

. The cat gets extremely hyper when given sugar.

That's nothing. My cat eats raw potatoes, but ONLY if they're still in the original plastic bag. We can't leave them where she can get to them or else we come in to find potato nibbles all over the floor.

Sure . . . for SMART cats.

Mine eats cheese then waits by the mouse hole with baited breath.

My cats loooove temp tee cream cheese. They'll also eat philadelphia cream cheese or store brand but after a few licks they loose interest. I've never tried to feed them other cheeses though.
