My cat is freaking nuts!!!

I just got home and my cat, Maynard, is dragging the rug that sits in front of the front door all over the place. I mean the rug weighs more than him! WTF?? Anyone have a cat like this?? Or see one do something similar?? He's acting like a dog! He growls too. What a freak!!

Are you sure you didn't feed him anything weird? Maybe he's just feeling aggressive.

One thing to know about cats is that there is no "normal" behavior. Your cat probably thinks it's killed something and is dragging it around playing with it.

As for the growl..is kitty fixed? Males when not fixed tend to get more agressive.

Put the learning leesh on him and slap him around a bit. Also make sure hes not eating any villagers while you are gone

No but seriously, my housemates cat is INSANE. It hisses and yells at you, and when I was outside it was watching out the window and yelled at me. I didn't even see it, so I walked up the window and slapped my hand on it. The cat went crazy and flung itself against the window smashing its head into it, and flung everything off my roomates desk. It was hilarious.

My cat is also a freak, and growls like a freaking mountain lion... She loves bread and if you leave a loaf out on the counter, she will bat the loaf onto the ground and run around the house with it hanging in between her legs... Funniest crap I have ever seen

He's fixed alright, but whenever he picks up his toy mice or this rug he starts growling. It actually sounds like a dog growl! It's hilarious! I keep putting it back and goes back and grabs it again and again!!

Well I don't have a cat, but my mates one loves to head but him in the morning to wake him up Hes called Buster, and when Iw as round his palce for a sleep over he head butted me in the chin And so did he do that to all the other mates round there The other cat didn't do that Just sits around and goes around trying to get stroked by people or something liek that Not as aggresive as Buster I wonder why they do strange things like that?!

haha, I've never seen a cat go berserk or anything (except maybe when encountering a dog on the street).
But I've always had the impression that some cats can be downright nasty, if they want

I used to have two cats and whenever a box was brung into the house, one of them would push it all over the house (where a ledge was), get to a high spot, and then jump into the box.. It'd sleep there for a while and then push the box over from the inside to get out.. It'd continue doing that whenever it wanted to sleep.
