My cat has turned into a serial killer

over the last 5 days:

5 chipmunks
4 mice
2 birds
1 small rabbit

This cat was adopted, so I don't know how old she actually is, but she is at least 13 years old, and has no front claws. We don't intentionally let her out but she has gotten very good at sprinting out of the door...

Apparently she really enjoyed the rabbit as she ate many of the vital organs.
😛

Good for the cat. A hunting cat is a healthy cat.

*edit* I just reread your post and see that the cat's declawed. That's pretty impressive.

That's nothing man. My friend's cat George used to clean house on his street. We'd look behind the bushes in the front yard almost every other day, and there'd be birds, squirrels, small dogs, and one time he even took down a raccoon.

George is now half blind, missing all of one ear, and is still a bad ass motha fvka.

dang, your cat is like a pro assassin.

my cat gary doesnt do anything... hes only 3 but it seems like hes 10+ in cat years... hes so lazy.

Yes. That is why you don't let puppies and small dogs get out of your yard and try to attack a cat possessed by Satan himself.

Congratulations. You are one of the lucky few who actually found a cat that knows what its job is and isn't too farking lazy to do it.

You don't have a problem, you have a winner.

LOL that is great you have to get us PICS!

and to the OP: if that cat is really declawed then that is amazing!

One or both of my cats (not sure which, haven't caught either red-handed) only bring home surprises when they are jealous... like when we are puppy-sitting.

Yep, as I said, her front paws are declawed, though she still has the back claws.

The gutted rabbit really surprised me, and the neighbor kids got a visceral gross out reaction at the blood stain on the shovel as the remaining carcass slid into its shallow grave.
