Thanks, I hope so too. He's lost almost 4 lbs in 10 days.

From 2 days ago.

It's in the kidneys right now, might have already spread to the liver. They can see a 2nd growth on the ultrasound but can't confirm without biopsy which is pointless considering how aggressive it is, basically a very expensive way of telling me oh there's more cancer.

I'm putting him down before it spreads. I don't want him in pain.
 
my sympathies - we are going through the exact same thing with our african pygmy hedgehog...he has several tumors, although most are probably benign, but he is in good spirits and isn't on his last legs yet, so we're enjoying our time with him and feeding him lots of treats...

i know how hard it is to let go, but keeping kitty free from suffering is infinitely more important...

again, my deepest condolences.

jhu: Kidney, possibly spread to the liver. Chemo is an option but it might be too late if it's circulating through the blood.
