As most cast do, my cat seems fascinated by water for some reason, but unlink most cats, he doesn't seem to have an issue with getting wet.

I left the water on a just a little stream in the sink yesterday and he just sat in the sink while trying to attack the stream of water, by the time he was done there was water all over the counter and he was soaked :p

My fiancee and I found it pretty entertaining so thought I'd share.

Here's the video (my first YouTube! Woot! :p)

Well I'm not going to start some online video blog or anything like that :p, was just the first site that came to mind when I wanted to upload the video.

Haha. I remember when my cats did that for the first time. They were amused by sinks for weeks. But that doesn't even compare to the time when one of my cats, while I was taking a shower, got IN the shower with me and just stood there getting soaked! That was some funny stuff!

 My cat will just stand on the ledge of the shower looking like he wants to get it but I think the sound scares him to much.

I'm pretty sure he'll end up just jumping in one day though, guess It'll be easier to give him a bath though :p

(youtube blocked at work..)

But, one of my cats used to do that when she was younger as well. I'd be in the bathroom brushing or washing my hands and she'd jump onto the counter and play with the water stream. She doesn't like having water thrown on her, but she doesn't mind playing with it.

Another one of our cats doesn't like drinking water unless it's running from the faucet.

Edit: Our other cat (we have 3) likes to go into the bathroom with us. Not sure why though. If you don't let him in, then he hangs out by the door and sticks his paws under it. If you let him in, he'll just lay at your feet.

Smart cat, running water usually has less bacteria ;)

Well it doesn't come through well in this video but he was putting his head under the stream of water and at one point (not in video) he decided to lay down in the sink with water filling up since he was blocking the drain! Man cat's can be so weird :p

One of my cats loves drinking from the faucet, not that he doesn't drink from the bowl but prefers the faucet. I guess he also likes hearing the sound of the water going.

We used to have a little bamboo tree thing next to the sink, and the cats would prefer to drink the water out of that than out of their bowls. (Bamboo tree was sitting in rocks, not in dirt, so the water wouldn't really 'soak in')

Actually, I think we still have the little tree, but I haven't seen them drinking out of it.

I saw this thing on Animal Planet last night, "the most eXtreme killer cats" or something. They ranked house cats as the most deadly, because they'll kill anything that they can overpower, for fun. Whereas leopards/jaguars/lions/etc, hunt for food.
