My cat died today...

JulesMaximus

No Lifer
She hasn't been eating much for the last few weeks even though I've been feeding her wet food and putting a little milk in it. Anyway, she lost quite a bit of weight so I took her to the vet today. She stopped breathing while they were doing blood work. They think she had a lymphatic cancer. I probably waited too long before taking her to the vet but they said there wasn't much they could have done anyway.

She would have been 12 years old on Feb 14. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old. 🙁

So, I'm feeling pretty low right now. :brokenheart:

Sorry to hear that. 🙁

Cats are so sad when they're sick too, they barely show it and don't really do anything to try to tell you. They just try to tough it out, brave little guys. I'll be devastated when mine goes.

Sorry for your loss man. 🙁

Sad to hear that. I bet you miss all the times he/she would be getting in your food you sat on the desk. OR all those times he/she keep stepping on you keyboard as you type in ATOT. OR chewing up you game controller cable. Or clawing up your mattress.

:frown::brokenheart:🙁 have a some :beer:

Well, I guess I can replace the carpet near the stairs now and the sofa/loveseat in the livingroom without worrying about her clawing them up.

I've never had a cat live that long, but it is always hard to lose a pet. They really do become part of the family. Sorry to hear about your loss.

OMG! I am so sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel... if you were closer I would hug you!!
I am soooo sorry!
