I had a cat that was too slow to catch animals. She brought leaves from the park and left them on the doorstep. She stood over the leaf so proudly. She was awesome🙂

Now i wish i had a cat...

Rotflmao,a vegan cat? 🙂

This is going to sound awful, but our cat once brought us a frog and set it on the doorstep for us. I found it and swept it off. Lo and behold, the next time I passed by the door, I saw that same frog sitting there. After this happened a few more times, I started calling the frog Mr. Peeps because of the way it appeared that it was peering in the door.

She's famous for oops, you must have misplaced this present I brought you, let me put it where you can find it again antics.

I had a cat that would catch rats, frogs, lizards, even garden snakes. I swear that cat was born to hunt. When I used to tease him and make him chase yarn around, he would get the most devilish look in his eyes...and when he finally caught the yarn, he would chew and claw the hell out of that string till it was frayed. Once he thought it was dead...he look up all tired....roll over and fall asleep. 🙂

BTW my cat always brought me half dead "presents" as well....struggling mice with broken legs, necks all cut up etc... I always accepted these gifts from my cat but I just couldn't let the poor mouse suffer any longer. I found that the best way to put them out of there misery was to throw them pretty hard against a hard wall or the floor. Not so hard that they pop all over the place, but hard enough that the impact would finish them. Then I'd bury them in my compost pile and wait for my next present.

My dog catches mice occasionally. When she does, she kills it and just leaves it by her bed.

Oh and btw why dont u just put it in a plastic bag and let it run out of air?

My cat, Ginger, is an indoor kitty. But she still managed to hunt down a Dove that used to perch on the balcony. Last summer, I left the sliding door to the balcony open overnight, and when I woke up about 7:00am, she had dragged it into the hall and left me exactly half.... My little hunter.... I'm so proud..... I saved one of the tail feathers and I tease her with it now and then.
BTW, my first thought when I saw all the feathers was "PICS!":camera: 😀 too bad the video cam was in for service that week....

My collie/shepard does to cats what your cats do to mice. :Q
I then have to put them out of their misery, blindfolded, execution style. I trained it well. 😀

Oh, yeah! Well I found half a mouse on my front lawn last week! That's a real cat. Think I'll go stroke her right now.

My cat has done that too. A few months ago was hunting outside and caught one. He brought it in the house, walked around real proud and showed everyone, then put it in his food dish and ate the head off. He's brought a bunnies in the house too :disgust: Those are messy.

What a beautiful cat! Is he part Russian Blue?

Yea, that's our best guess. We got him from the human society about 2 years ago. He was a big kitten then.

He doesn't eat mice though He's very gentle and just plays with them.
You sure you just don't see him eating it? They will play with their food before they kill it. I bet if you didn't feed him as often he'd eat that mouse.

Once a mouse got into my apartment and my cats ate it whole. I know this because they got tapeworms, and that's the only way they could have gotten them as they don't go out.

I have an indoor cat that catches mice and plays with them until they die. Then brings them up to the kitchen and lays them in the middle of the room. lol

I have an outdoor cat the catches mice, birds, and small rabbits. He usually eats half of the rabbit and leaves the rest for me to clean up.
