We were chillin by the grill drinking some beers and our cat rolls up with a rabbit in it's mouth.

She lays it down for a bit and plays with it, then the rabbit takes off.. followed by the cat.

She catches it, and you hear this awful squeeking sound like a squeeky toy.

Then she ate it :Q

:(

We have lots of rabbits around here.. It's cool, being right in the middle of Portland. We live in a little cove. :)

We scare the cats away from our place. Damn things.

That seriously depresses me. I hate hearing/seeing animals dying. :( I feel bad for the rabbit.

Wow that rabbit is tiny. When my dog was younger, she killed 8 (we think) rabbits from the body parts we found. There was blood everywhere:(

My cat used to do that at least once a week. We lived at the end of a road with a big field next to us. He'd go out there and catch mince and rabbits. Now he's about 15 years old and mostly hangs around on the back porch. Plus my parents moved to adifferent neighborhood with no big rabbit filled field.

It's a baby.

Most domestic cats couldn't catch a full size rabbit even if they wanted to.

My mom says cats just like to play with them animals, not eat them. Well she's was wrong. Maybe she just meant "indoor" cats.

That's great! You even took pics. Nice.

Just goes to show you that "domestic" animals aren't as "domesticated" as we would LIKE to believe. Remember; at the zoo, the Lions and Tigers look at YOU as food. If your cat were twice the size...I'd be afraid to sleep at night.

Cats are the Devil's Tools. Like children.

How would you feel if those pics were of one of my dogs playing with your dead cat they had just killed? Remember, everything is relative.
