My Cassiopeia won't turn on!

Yesterday I left it running the Winamp controller program, IRemote. It had frozen so I couldn't turn it off with the power button and I was in a hurry, so I just left it on my bed. The battery died, and when I got home I plugged it in to charge. The rechard LED is green, but it does not turn on! I tried resetting, formatting... nothing works. 🙁 Anyone have any ideas? Maybe it overheated?
 
remove the main and backup batteries.

let sit for 5 min

reseat both batteries.

give it a shot.

you will lose any data or programs installed, it will revert back to the original ROM state. So I hope you have a backup.

this type of thing has happened to me so I know from experiance.

Also if the battery and back up are completely dead then when you try and recharge the unit in the craddle it will remain off for about 5 to 10 mins.

just stick the unit back in the craddle after you do the above resetting and let it sit for about 10 mins before you attempt to turn the unit back on.
