Pic 1 was a total waste of time - skipped the rest assuming they were as oversized as the first. Get IrfanView and learn how to use it to resize/resample pix for internet viewing (takes about 10 sec. each) to no more than 640 pixels wide and no more than 16bit color depth - even 8 bit will usually come across well. No sense taking up internet bandwidth with bloated vanity pix... Just my O.

Clean up the cable mess and use the atx airflow design as intended, front intake and rear exhaust.

Lol. You think thats a cable mess? You should have seen it before I used the black tubing. What does yours look like? I decided to use the rear as intake because I could filter that as opposed to the windowed door which would dump unfiltered air in the rig; defeating the whole purpose.

The only exhausts are on the door and the powersupply. Theres another fan you dont see, which is also filtered, to the right of the hard drives. So, I have a total of 3 intakes and three exhausts. All the intakes are filtered.

:)

Agree, you should clean up cables and use front intake and rear exhaust. Hot air goes up, so you have to take it out from there and push fresh air in the bottom.

i cut the front plastic grill on that case so the fins were straight and not L shaped. cut down noise and gave me better air flow.

also, if you chose to use the back fan as intake, i might apt to use some sort of tubing to isolate it from the rest of the case so you dont mess up the airflow in your case with turbulance. That may or may not also allow you to remove your HSF and just use the 92mm attached to your case. And then, do the front intake and side/top exhaust if available.

Same thing.

Anyhow, if you are running windows XP, you don't need those ridiculous audio cables going to your sound card.

As far as the cables on the front go, drill some holes behind your mobo and run all the wires going to the front through there, instead of right across the front.

The split look looks ugly and clunky, you should use flexo sleeving instead.

The difference being one is spelled Chenming and the other is spelled Chieftec, chief. So no, its not the same the thing. And the difference doesnt end with spelling. Do some reasearch and youll know what Im talking about.

And since you cant see the audio cables from the rear you must be talking about the ones running from the sound card to the cd rom devices themselves. One is a analog the other is digital which you need if you play cdroms from your computer with encoding, etc. You must have never done that before otherwise you would know the difference, because if you did you would know you cant play CD audio from a device without cables, even under windows XP. Try it - especially digitally, you might like it as there is a noticeable difference.

And, lastly but not leastly I tried to used "flexo" but it frayed badly on installation and was inferior to what Im using now.

No, the two companies are one in the same. One is the asian counterpart. Thus, the cases they distribute are made in the exact same factory, with the exact same machine. There is no difference. I have looked this up, thank you.

I have no audio cables hooked up to my CD-ROMs, and I can play CDs in my computer perfectly, through my mainboard sound, the sound on my Santa Cruz, through both speakers and headphones.

If you toast the ends of flexo sleeving a bit, it won't fray. It's worth the effort to work with it because it looks 10 times better and is 20 times more flexible than split loom.

There is some very good onboard audio out there (soundstorm, Envy24...).

You don't need audio CD and Digital CD cables to listen to the music. Just check digital audio is checked in winXP and it will go through the IDE.

I said it works without the wires with BOTH my on board audio AND My Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.

If you're going to be asking people for suggestions about your case, then perhaps you shouldn't be a jerk about the suggestions they give you.

I relly do not understand what you are asking...You want to change your case or something? There is really nothing you can chage on it...put a top window inmaybe..for sure CLEAN up those wires..mod the fron a bit...many diff things you can do with it.

No I was just ganering opinions. Several have mentioned "cleaning up the wires" but wrapping them in the flexible tubing as all I can do. Everything else in there is necessary.

What I would also like to point out is that Im missing a hard drive I sold here. Ive ordered another one to replace so you might see an extra power cable/ sata cable available.

Thanks! :)
