Ever since I was a kid, I always thought I was going to be a cop when I grew up. When I hit my teen years and was introduced to the computer age. I instantly fell in love with them and now consider myself pretty knowledgeable at pc stuff. Now that I know more about computers I want to devote the rest of my life working on them for a living.
But I still dream of becoming a police officer. I also have been reading that the need for bilingual Hispanics is greatly increasing and so is the crime rate in my city.
So now I'm torn between the two choices.
On the one hand. I can work on any pc related job (haven't specifically chosen what yet) and try to make over 50K a year. Which might be boring and repetitive depending on which field I choose but I guess the money will more than make up for it so I can have my fun on weekends.
On the other, I can be a police officer and make around 30K to 50K a year. Which I don't have a problem with since the feeling of helping others more than makes up for it. Also, I've been told that there is never a dull moment and your days go by fast. Not to mention meeting new and interesting people everyday.
So right now I'm kinda like 😕 and need to hurry up because :clock: is running out.
