not a bad time for a Corolla, although my 2k1 Neon ran the 1/4 in 15.91 without N20 😛 (CAI and UDP only to be exact)

He didn't use N2O in his run either.

I read up earlier that he did.. oh well.

That's with a 2 liter, right? I have a 1.8 with intake and exhaust..tell me who has the advantage. Clutch/flywheel doesn't help much in the quarter.

I'm not trying to 'look cool' -- no kit, no carbon fiber, no fancy rims -- it's not a show car..lol

I'm guessing your Quarter time is not on the bottle? The clear corners, stickers, and tint on a compact econocar say rice, but if you didn't have those and it looked more stock you could go for the sleeper approach. Maybe a light tint still to mask your gauges.

EDIT: Also, you might try for an older GTS Corolla next time, they are RWD, have LSD's, and there is a better variety of forced induction options.

I was going to buy a 1980 Corolla SR5 (RWD, 3TC turbo-friendly 1.6 liter), but the guy sold it to someone else two days before I was going to buy it.

The GTSs are expensive and hard to find -- I'd probably buy a MkII MR2 before an older Corolla, unless I got a really, really good deal.

And yes..the 1/4 is off the bottle (lol..this is what, the 4th time?) 😛

As for tint -- I'm in FL..it's not mandatory, but pretty close. 😉 I have mixed feelings on the stickers; I might strip them eventually.
