So i decided to go ice skatting today at Pennslanding in philadelphia (for the local people) since in the city isnt the best place to leave your car I decided to lock my sidekick in the care to not risk falling on it since i keep it in my back pocket. I figured i would lock it in my glove box to be safe, I opened it droped in the phone and put the key in and had a little bit of trouble getting it shut, but I did it. I get back to the car and try to open it with no luck so I give up to start the engine since it was to cold in the car. I got home and kept strugging to open it with no luck. I didnt want to break my key since they are expensive so basically my phone is trapped in their, hopefully the cold temperature dosent mess it up. The car is an 04 Mazda 6 and this was prolly like my 1st or 2nd time useing the lock on the glovebox. So now i have to get the glove box fixed, squaking master break cylinder, ticking engine noise, figure out where the hell the plastic burning smell is comming from for the past 2 weeks and get an oil change. Im about to hit 13k miles. Im not so concerned with my cell phone since its not my primary phone but I cant immagine whats gonna happen when if i get pulled over, i can picture it:
"licence and registration please"
"umm i know this is gonna sound bad officer but i cant open my glove box"
"im gonna have to ask u to step out of the car son"

oh well heres my rant of the day, thanks MAZDA! good nite.

Huh... I've never known a guy who kept his phone in his back pocket. But anyway, you said you had trouble closing it, so maybe all the junk in there is pushing on the door hard enough that it's creating friction and preventing you from opening it? Maybe try pushing on it when you try to open it.

Edit: Not your "primary" phone? Is it supplied by your employer or something?

theres nothing really in there besides car paperwork and lugnut keys. I Keep it in my pocket because its a tmobile sidekick and i just use it for text msgs, I have a work for that i use as my primary for actual voice calls.

I hate phones. I think they are one of the worst inventions, ever. They go beyond a chastity belt. Everybody, no matter how old, young, annoying, and stupid they are, think they are cool and in style if they have a cell. The ring tones really get to me. In fact, normal phone rings really get to me. I fvcking hate phones. Everyone that I don't like talking to wants to talk to me. Unplugging the damn thing is probably the best way to answer a phone.
