My calculator was stolen today

The lunch point is true, and I completely forgot...I do not need to bring the calculator to lunch. However, I cannot go back to my locker after math class b/c my locker is on the opposite end of the school, and I would be late for my next class. It just won't work. I guess I'll have to make sure I don't have my backpack out of sight.

Man, I left my Ti-83 in the front pocket for 5 straight years and never lost it.

5 years cuz I needed it in junior high too.

I was planning on marking it, since people have tipped me on doing that around school, but this was the first day that I'd brought it to school, so I hadn't gotten around to it yet.

I wouldn't leave it in my backpack, but the Ti series are big as hell, and I already carry my iPod and my cell phone in my pockets, in fear of them being stolen, so there isn't much room for a giant calculator.

Luckily, some ass on my bus who goes around stealing calculators will sell me a bit beated up Ti-83 for $20 on monday. That'll have to do.

That sucks. My friend went through something like 8 calculators throughout Middle and High School. They'd either be stolen, lost or he somehow broke them.

That being said, I had a 83 through Middle School, went to HS, gave the 83 to my dad and got a 89. Never lost it, had it attempted to be stolen, etc.

Just question everyone in your English class. There have to be a couple shady people in there.

Someone stole my TI-86 once in high school, right out of my locker. It was the school's so I had to replace it, so I bought a cheap one off eBay for $38. Sucked, though.
