My CAK-II 38 is deafening me - Prospective mod

As I mentioned in the title, my CAK II 38 needs quieting down, so I intend to do the following. Any advice on a similar mod, let me know:

- 80 ->60 mm fan adapter
- Replace 'Screaming whore-banshee-from-hell' Delta with 50CFM Mechatronics 80mm

Option:

- TT smart fan 2 in place of the Mechatronics

Waddya think?

PS: all these parts are from stock (my stock..!).
 
I have no experience with the mechtronics fan but i have had a few 50cfm sunnons which work pretty damn good and are semi quiet to boot..............they are not silent tho but they work well
